Welcome Todd McCombs to MH Board...

Sep 23rd, 2008

Mission Houston Board & Staff welcome Todd McCombs as our Board Member.

Todd joined our Board in October 2008 and is a recognized leader in the Christian business community in the Sugarland, Richmond and Rosenberg area. In 1982 he founded GEM Engineering and then in 1999 he founded Transworld Telecom. He sold both to publicly traded companies. Then, in 2003, Todd formed TTM Development, a real estate development company, in which he develops commercial property in the Richmond/ Rosenberg area as well as student housing in Waco, Texas. He was the original Chairman of the Board for Second Mile Mission Center, a ministry to the poor in Fort Bend Country, and served on that Board until March of last year. Todd is the founder of Innovative Outreach International (IOI), which has started a lawn care business to employ ex-offenders, started an auto leasing business to help ex-offenders, and purchased 13 homes and operated them as Christian discipleship training centers for men suffering from drug or alcohol addiction. IOI is currently a partner with the Houston Food Bank and is helping churches in low income areas of Fort Bend County to perform food outreaches to the poor in their communities. Todd has also recently begun a house flipping business with a local pastor who ministers to the radically unchurched. The profits from this business are going to meeting the pastor's support needs and to funding a new ministry targeting human trafficking. Todd just celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife Denise and they have three children aged 23, 20 and 17. He attends Crossbridge Community Church in Sugar Land, Texas.

Welcome to the team Todd!
